HealthCampToronto will use the "unconference" format to create a safe place for contrarians, free thinkers, change agents and idea entrepreneurs. Please join us if you want to challenge groupthink and revolutionize current health and healthcare systems through the power of your ideas.
Healthcamp is a space to openly share your thoughts and ideas.
Please join us on September 16th, 2009 at 120 Bloor at the IBM Centre for e-Business Innovation for HealthCamp Toronto. This event is sponsored by the Health Strategy Innovation Cell and by IBM. Yet the conference is going to be driven by you: the participants. This event is being held in a space that will accommodate 75 actively engaged participants.
For those who may be attending this event as their first exposure to Healthcamp we encourage you to look at the rules of BarCamp -- from which HealthCamp has evolved. This document covers the gestalt of the day, emphasizing that this is an open environment for active and engaged minds to come together to share and learn and contribute to the future of healthcare innovation.
Since at the end of the day we are all patients and citizens who are naturally interested in our own health, anyone who wants to participate can attend. We encourage administrators, providers, patients -- and people from any other category you can think of -- to come with an open mind and a passion to contribute.
We look forward to seeing you there and seeing what we can make of the day. Join us -- change the world.
